well, its a nice optical makeover
but first of all,
im missing the smoke :P

second,
if you are going to redo a game
think about adding stuff, not just improving the graphics.. cause those mostly just suck
Try adding new things, if you cant think of anything else
then add gun powerups or so with enemy's
that would make it a bit more interesting

just try and make something original out of it
other then that, fine.. that superb or such because its not the original :s

- add music
- add sound effects
- improve the collision detection
- smooth the dude (make him move more fluently)
- give the monsters some AI
- add story

bugged?

oke.. it might be a idea to make the first map easyer
like giving some help (i didnt see a red key anywhere)

so i cheated from that map.. (right click, next)
you might want to fix that cheat though (just a hint)

for the rest, nice idea
